Xerxes Has Been Written Out Of The 300 Sequel

From what I am seeing the villain from the first 300 movie will not be back for part 2. They say that they are finally going to be moving ahead with the movie but Rodrigo Santoro the man who played Xerxes was never contacted to come back. Also when looking over the script there was no mention of Xerxes at all. I am not sure how 300 fans will respond to this but with all of the original cast dead except for the ones that were left behind this movie will not feel likd
