Over in Canada a railway yard that can be found in southeast Calgary is generating a lot of noise because work is going on and now the neighbors of this yard are complaining stating they need to keep it down. This is crazy to me the railway yard has been in that location for years. The fact that you bought a home near a railway yard and you think it is going to be quite is crazy to me. It is like buying a home near a diesel refinery and not having your house smell of farts, or having one near a slaughterhouse and your home not smell of dead animals. Now I know a little something about homes if you buy a house near a airport or major railway system the houses are normally cheaper by about 15 or 20k if memory servers me right. So if the home near the railway yard was 130k it would cost about 150k to buy the same type of home that is not near one. With that being said if the railway yard was there before you when you bought the home you knew it was going to generate noise. Then what makes you think you can tell them not to work. They where there first! Anyway enough of this crazy story! In order to cheer myself up while proofing this story I am posting a pic of a box of kittens.
