I normally base my writings on an article I’ve read but this one is all me. Here is my problem, SOPA was never put into action and was voted down, which means our Internet is safe from censorship. Then not more then three days after SOPA lost [was Thursday, right after the blackout] we find that MegaUploads was taken down by the FBI. Then I am reading about how bit torrent sites are being taken down as well, which makes me think that even without SOPA, the government is still shutting down sites without a care in the world. So, if this is what the world is like without SOPA, how much worse could it be if SOPA did come into power?
