So originally they were going to push Dwight as the successor to Micheal Scott leaving the office but with the success of Ed Helms popular being up from his role in the hangover they gave it to his character. Well that is where things get funny in the last episode Dwight asked to become his own manager well in the background NBC is gearing up to give him a spin off to the original series. My problem is he is only funny because of his interactions with the people in the office. So to remove him from that to a new show could be just as smart as giving Joey from Friends his own show. In the end Rainn Wilson is going to be getting his own show and we hope only the best but I hope they don’t make it hard to watch by having cameo’s come on the show just to keep it going.
