My Morning Joe
Currently there are sites where people can log in with their Facebook accounts.Well that will soon change in the not to distant future Facebook will allow these sites to grab your home address and phone numbers as well as your full name. The company is claiming that it is not a big deal because these you would only use this feature on sites that you already go to, and they say they will try to disable this feature to people under the age of 18. But the reality is that with so many people loading apps to their Facebook page that turns out to be spam. So that means that there is a good chance that many of us will be tricked into giving up our personal data to spammers. I believe that this will be a problem once Facebook gives other sites and apps the ability to pull your personal data. There will be a outbreak of identity theft all over the Facebook. As it stands no word yet on when this update will happen, but knowing Facebook they will give up the option to “opt out” on giving away your information about 4 months after people start to complain.
