Akria has been the on again off again movie of the last 20 years in fact out side of Ghostbusters 3 no other movie that I know off has been so off and on. For example at one time Leonardo Dicaprio was tagged to play the lead in the movie. Big shocker it was cancelled and they said they couldn’t ‘work things out’ well we thought this one was going to happen because they gave a production start time of March. The WB just officially said they are calling it quits again. So do I think this anime hit is going to make it to the big screen anytime soon? Short answer no, long answer is yes. So I do not think that the movie will come out any time soon, but I do think that when Hollywood becomes more dispirit they will push this movie forward.
